start contacting your printer

Now is the time to pick a printer and check in with him/her about paper, running a small test for color, etc. Most likely the printer will want to print your project from a PDF. Some may prefer your native InDesign files and packaged assets. Here's a refresher:

Adobe PDF Preset: Press Quality
Marks + Bleeds: All Printers Marks
Bleed + Slug: Use Document Bleed Settings

Just a couple of reminders: don't forget to double check the problem requirements. I noticed a lot of students did not include subheads in their layouts. Also, many of you were not working in styles. If you need a refresher on that, consult the book or go here.
